George Sim Center photography

George Sim Center is located on 6207 Logan St, Sacramento,CA.

It is opened Monday-Friday from 10:00am-8:00pm. It has many programs.

It also has an independent study charter school for 7-12 grade. At the Sim Center there is a fitness/weight room, pool, meeting rooms, stage, and many more fun things.

Today's lesson was side walk chalk photography. My group and i decided to to draw a lady bug, butterfly, and a bee. We also added the clouds and flowers to make the picture look a bit better. i enjoyed doing today's work. its fun and challenging. 

Panning

Today's lesson was panning. Panning looks easy but its really not. i enjoyed doing panning today. It is fun but a bit challenging. I look forward to learning more about panning. 

Indoor Portraits

Today we learned how to set up the lights, tripods, and a background for our photos.We practiced doing indoor portraits. I enjoyed doing that. I look forward to learning more about indoor portraits.

Portrait

Today's lesson was to take a portrait of someone.

I choose to take a portrait of Caroline while 

she was on the bridge on the playground because I liked 

how she looked. I also liked the pose she was doing.

Taking portraits is a lot harder then it looks but its 

really fun once you get the hang of it.

Black And White

Today i learned how to use the manual mode on the camera.

It was also the first time I used it so it was a bit hard 

at first then I got the hang of it. I was also able

to learn how to change the color on the camera so that

my picture would look black and white. This is what 

i took and learned in photography today.

My name is Vanessa. I am a photo student at SAVA Sim Center.

Photography is something i want to get better at. It is also

something i enjoy doing. I look forward in learning more

about photography. My goal by the end of photo class 1

is to take better pictures then before.
